Evaluation Project

In Autumn 2012, the Norwegian ID Centre began work on the Evaluation Project. The aim was to survey ID work being carried out by the immigration authorities. The project focused on the work done by individual departments as well as interaction between departments. The aim of the project was to evaluate the current situation and suggest improvements, to ensure more effective ways of working with ID. Furthermore, it was our intention that the project should contribute to a better and broader evaluation of ID in case work, including the interaction and exchange of information between departments.

The project group consisted of representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (UD), the Directorate of Immigration (UDI), Oslo and Agder police districts, the National Police Immigration Service (PU), and staff from the Norwegian ID Centre.

The project leader was Hanne Tannvik Svendsen.
