Biometry Project

The aim of the Biometry Project was to survey current practices and the possibilities permitted by legislation in regard to the recording, storing and sharing of biometrical information in connection with identity clarification. Furthermore, the project charted the needs of different participants in the ID field, evaluated the extent to which current legislation covers these needs, and illuminated the conflicting concerns of individual privacy and information sharing.

The project leader was Knut Øvregård.
