ID database
The Norwegian ID Centre 's ID database contains identity-related information on a selection of countries all over the world. The information is arranged according to country, making it easy to find identity documents and background facts useful for assessing identity. This can be used for both routine controls and more elaborate examinations. It has been designed to suit the purposes of our users in the immigration authorities and police. At present it contains information about the 25 following countries: Afghanistan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Eritrea, Ehtiopia, Greece, India, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Libya, Lithuania, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Turkey, Ukraine, Vietnam and Yemen.
Registered users at www.nidsenter.no who work for the Norwegian Police, UDI, UD, UNE and Landinfo have access to this database when they sign in.
