Visa Information System (VIS) is short for the Schengen Agreement’s visa information system. VIS consists of two main parts, a central system (CS-VIS) with a database in Strasbourg, and the member states’ domestic systems (N-VIS) that communicate with the central VIS system. NORVIS is Norway’s N-VIS system.
